Dear Colleagues,
We're on the last leg of the institutional activity of this year and only the last step we have to cap another period of significant union action.
I mean our next XXII Latin American Congress to be held between 10 and 13 November in Cancun, Mexico's Yucatan peninsula. In a brief summary of the proceedings we recall the presence of our Confederation at FIEPAG in Brazil, then the FESPA meeting held in Mexico, in third place our participation at the fair ExpoPrint of Brazil, where we were specially invited to hold a meeting of the Board of Directors and the 2 nd meeting of the Training Committee of CIFAG.
In September, the evaluation of the XVII Competition Theobaldo De Nigris was completed with the unconditional support of member countries (except for Argentina at this time) and finally we are heading to our Latin American Congress. Finally we had a presence in the official exhibition Argentina Grafica that ended last Saturday, where as always we showed in the institutional stand a random sample of work submitted to the contest which will award at the Congress of Cancun.
I believe that the march of union action which we have proposed is continuing normally and is consolidating, increasingly, our institutional presence regionally and internationally. This is clearly demonstrated by the support the first-level suppliers are giving us through sponsorship of our Congress that the main managers of supplier firms will be integrating the Panel which will discuss the future of our printing industry, along with other first class experts who will address other issues of importance also on the development of our sector.
Now we just trust that we must continue to provide integrated and participatory ideas and proposals that make us increasingly needed at the institutional level as a reference to an industry that, despite the constant changes is becoming increasingly indispensable for the dissemination of knowledge and culture.
Best regards
José Luis Zamora Contreras.
President.
