Summit Meeting of the Latin American Graphic Industry

In the restaurant Estilo Campo, at the sophisticated district of Puerto Madero, the Welcome Dinner to the foreign assistant to the XXI Congress took place. A happy meeting to eat the classic Argentine barbecue and the good Argentine wine and to talk among colleagues and friends.

Fundacion Gutenberg’s home was the meeting point of the Workshops of Graphic Specialties in the branches of: Printing of Cardboard and Corrugated Packaging and Common Labels; Books and Magazines Printing in Web Offset System; Printing of Self-Adhesive and Special labels.

After a hard working week, the International Jury of the XV Latin American Contest of Graphic Products has ended their evaluation of the products that compete.

The president of the XV “Theobaldo De Nigris” Latin American Contest of Graphic Products, the entrepreneur Marcelo Recio, shared a friendly dinner with the members of the Jury. The event was at “Tia Margarita” restaurant that is in a traditional corner of Caballitos district, near to Fundacion Gutenberg home, where the Jury is evaluating.

The president of CONLATINGRAF, Juan Carlos Sacco, was in the home of Fundacion Gutenberg and welcomed the members of the the Jury of the XV “Theobaldo De Nigris” Latin American Contest of Graphic Products. During the conversation all of them interchanged opinions about the quantity and the quality of the pieces that are submitted the same as about the way the experts have been organized their hard task.

As the video shows, the experts of the Jury of the XV “Theobaldo De Nigris” Latin American Contest of Graphic Products are already working at full rhythm evaluating 1,500 pieces. The Jury has the operating support of authorities and teaching staff of Fundacion Gutenberg the same as members of FAIGA staff.

In their first day of evaluating the graphic items submitted to the XV “Theobaldo De Nigris” Latin American Graphic Products Contest, the experts of the International Jury received the visit of the president of the competition, entrepreneur Marcelo Recio, and the member of the Organizer Committee of the XXI Latin American Congress of the Graphic Industry, entrepreneur Mario Sily, both of them welcomed the Jury.

Those experts who are part of the International Jury have begun their task of evaluation in the home of Fundacion Gutenberg on this Monday 10 November.
The task is shown very hard because of the big amount of copies that are submitted in this competence, in all the entries and from all the Latin American countries.
The backward counting has started in the running up to the winners’ limelight.
