RYOBI – Launching of Smart Printing Solutions at drupa 2008

 

The main RYOBI executives, headed by the director and general manager of Graphic Systems Division, Koji Ishii, showed their satisfaction during the press conference on Saturday 31st May, because of the approval of their printing machines in the entire world, and particularly in Latin America. The motto of RYOBI at drupa was “Evolving with you”, which was worked up by “Smart Printing Solutions”.

Among the launchings at drupa 2008 it’s remarkable the RYOBI 1050-5 with UV system and PQS (inline printing control system). This is B1-size multicolor offset press and it’s appointed as the RYOBI flagship.
The new A-3up Ryobi offset press was also presented as a member of the new 524GE series. This version is built on 529GX series and runs at 11,000 sheet/hour as maximum speed and a maximum sheet size of 520x375 mm. It’s featured by the remote plate register control, semi automatic plate changer and PCS-J printing control system that allow users adjusting to balance inks by remote control.

During the press conference the RYOBI interest on energy saving and environmental care was underlined. Aiming that RYOBI has developed LED-UV Printing System. The new system has, in place of a conventional UV lamp, a long-life, lower power consumption LED light source for UV curing. This next-generation system meets the growing demand from the printing industry to reduce environmental impact.
