The executive manager of XEIKON Punch Graphix division, Wim Deblauwe, remarked that even if the brand had been from long time in Latin America, now the brand will be emphasized. “We have special interest in showing our digital technology because the market is very well prepared. We are sure that the Latin American graphic sector will take off with force”.
In Latin America we have partners that deal our products, such as X-Graph in Argentina, “even if there up to now we have to recognize that we hadn’t so success as in Brazil to be honest and we think that it’s because we have not backed enough the commercialization and the service to the customers”. Up to know the group had been concentrated in Europe and USA, said the Dutch executive, who re-underlined that they are very interested in working and bringing digital solutions to South America and to promote the progress of that market.
“We have not postponed the launchings in any region. In every part our products are received at the same time”, emphasized Deblauwe. In reference to the main launching in drupa 2008, the Xeikon 8000 printer, he remarked that it would be a big tool to improve the very high quality production.
“I’m convinced that the trend in printing goes towards digital and there the Latin American printers should strengthen their investments. InkJet technology responds efficiently to the daily needs of users”. And again he underlined: “Latin America is the continent where more attention will put in the future, because at present it’s the market that is growing more and incorporating new technologies”.
