manroland – as the brand was renamed – has given a big surprise at drupa announcing the entry in the small format printing machines market with the launching of Roland 50 in 36x52 format.
roland 50 – In their press conference the company also presented the results of renaming their machines in the world. Gerd Finkbeiner, in his presentation, spoke not only of the company but the importance of drupa as graphic exhibition and his confidence that drup will promote the industry face the new challenges. In spite out challenges and structural changes in the world, in drupa we will emphasised the capacity of the industry for innovating and meet the needs of an always changing world. The new roland 50 is the first small format printing machine of the brand. It has the technology with the same features of the bigger sized printers: double-size printing cylinders and transferters, etc. The incentive for manufacturing this format, it’s said, is not be in disadvantage in front of Heidelberg and Komori. Dr. Markus Rall said that, even the sector feels the pressure of digital printers, there is a large market roland has to meet. Equipped with a 900 millimeters high-pile de-livery, the ROLAND 200 now has more efficient logistics and the ROLAND Inline-Coater smart increases product value.

Roland 900 - The real 7B format live: in the large-format segment the ROLAND 900, XXL in format 7B plus impresses with unique productivity and the launch of the automatic APL® plate changing system as well as with the ROLAND InlineColorPilot, the inline color control system. drupa will also see the official sales release of the format XXL ROLAND 900 with a perfecting system.
